MacBook: Self Service+

Staff must be connected to the ICCSD-Secure Wi-Fi network for apps to appear in the Self Service+ app.

Audience: Staff

Summary: Since district MacBooks are enterprise-managed, staff won’t be able to download certain apps directly from the App Store. Instead, all district staff should use the Self Service+ app, which should appear on every district Apple device.

To download and install district-approved apps and software, staff will have to navigate to the Self Service+ app. Please note that you must be connected to the ICCSD-Secure Wi-Fi network in order to download items from Self Service+.

The most commonly downloaded items from Self Service+ are Microsoft Office apps, Adobe apps, and Remote Desktop apps. If you would like an app added or are having trouble downloading an app, please contact the Help Desk.
