Installing New Software from Software Center in Windows

Audience: Staff

Purpose: To demonstrate how software can be downloaded using the Software Center.

Summary: Software Center is a program available on ICCSD Windows devices which will allow you to download and install select software titles and updates.

Installing

  1. Navigate to your taskbar search and enter Software Center.

  2. When the application appears in the search window, click on it.

    1. Software Center should also be pinned to the taskbar by default, and can be opened from there as well.

  1. Software titles will be displayed under the Applications menu, which should be the initial screen shown when opened.

  1. Click on a software title to view more information on it.

  2. To install the software, click on the Install button.
