Interactive Projector Pens Troubleshooting

Audience: Staff, Students

Purpose: The purpose of this article is to work through common issues with interactive projector pens.

Replace or Charge the Batteries in the Pens

  • They are rechargeable batteries, please connect them to the charger.

  • AA batteries can also be used.

Check Your Settings on the Wireless Display

  • When connecting to the wireless display, did you check the box to allow mouse, keyboard, touch and pen input from this device?

Check the Projector

  •  Unplug the projector from the electrical outlet, then plug it back in and try it again. 

USB Cable from Projector to Wireless Display

  • The cable from the projector to the Wireless Display might need to be reseated. 

    • Please contact the Help Desk if all other troubleshooting steps don’t resolve the issue and we will have a field technician assist.
