Audio Troubleshooting (Windows)
Audience: Staff, Students
Purpose: The purpose of this article is to work through common audio issues in the classroom.
Instructions:
Check Your Computer’s Audio Volume.
Adjust the volume on your computer, click the speaker icon in the lower right corner and set the slider to your desired volume.
2. Check Your Computer’s Audio Source.
Make sure your audio source is set to the Epson Projector.
Click on the speaker icon in the lower right corner and then click on the caret to open up the source menu.
You can change the source by clicking on the different listed sources.
The Digital Output is the source/input you want for the classroom speaker.
It may also be labeled EPSON PJ, or something similar.
3. Check the Projector
The Epson projector remote has volume controls.
Press the volume + button to ensure the volume has not been turned to 0.
4. Check the Media Source’s Audio Volume
Many media players (VLC, YouTube, iTunes, etc.) have their own volume slider.
Open up the application and ensure the volume is not turned down or muted.
