Connecting to the Projector using HDMI Input

Audience: Staff, Students

Purpose: The purpose of this article is to show how to use HDMI to connect a device to a projector.

Notes:

  • The District always recommends using the HDMI cable when streaming audio and video files.  You will have better quality in both video and audio when using the HDMI cable and NOT the wireless display. 

Connecting

  1. Turn on projector

    1. Make sure you are disconnected from Wireless display/ScreenBeam.  

      1. Windows K - disconnect

  2. Connect HDMI cable to laptop and wall port

    1. Located on the wall near the whiteboard.

  1. On the projector remote, press the HDMI/Video button (near the top) or the Source button until you get the source you are looking for.
