Sharing Photos from Phone to Google Drive

Purpose: The purpose of this article is to show users how to share a photo from their phone to Google Drive.

Summary: There are two easy ways to get photos from your phone to your Google Drive.

Instructions:

Option 1

  1. Email photos from your smartphone to your district email account.

  2. Open your email and click on the Drive icon to save to Google Drive.

 

Option 2

If you have the Google Drive app on your smartphone, you can also easily share photos to your district Google Drive. This option is ideal for sending large numbers of photos.

 

  1. Open Google Drive app.

  2. In the lower right corner, tap the “+” button.

  3. Tap “Upload file.”

  4. Tap “Photos and Videos.”

  5. After selecting photos, tap “Upload” in the top right corner.

  6. Photos should now be added to your Google Drive!
